Fonts, in particular, cannot be scaled on the embroidery machine. The Creativate embroidery software adjusts the stitches optimally.
If you want to create your own embroidery files, we recommend the Creativate Elite.
creativate™ Essential (formerly mySewnet™ Silver) is your tool for bringing embroidery files to life – simple, intuitive, and perfect for Mac or Windows. Want to embroider a name on a towel? A lettering on a pillow? Or combine two purchased embroidery files and arrange them perfectly in a hoop? This software is perfect for that.
With just a few clicks, you can add text and choose from beautiful embroidery fonts. You can scale, rotate, mirror, or combine existing designs – and position them in the embroidery hoop exactly as you envision them. A particularly useful feature: The preview shows you the result before you transfer it to your machine.
And because creativate Essential runs on two devices simultaneously, you can flexibly switch between your laptop and desktop—whether at home or in your studio. Ideal for anyone who wants to prepare and customize embroidery files on their computer.

You will receive a digital activation code from us to activate the software on up to two devices (Windows or macOS). The download is available directly from the manufacturer's website.
Whether you want to reduce the size of an existing design, mirror it, or add lettering, creativate™ Essential makes it easy. Thanks to the cloud functionality, you can send embroidery designs directly to compatible machines – wirelessly and conveniently. You can't create your own designs with this feature.

With creativate™ Essential, you can edit existing embroidery motifs, combine designs, and add text. Use built-in fonts or your own TrueType® fonts, change colors, arrange motifs in the embroidery hoop, and conveniently manage your files in Explorer/Finder. For perfect results – even before the first stitch.
The software can be activated on two computers, regardless of whether they are Mac or Windows. If you switch devices, you can deactivate the software on the previously used device and reactivate it on a new one. Internet access is required for registration.

Who is creativate™ Essential suitable for?
For anyone who's just starting out with embroidery or simply wants to edit existing files. No prior knowledge is required – the software is easy to understand and clearly laid out.
On which systems does the software run?
creativate Essential is compatible with Windows® 10/11 and macOS® High Sierra (10.13 and higher). It also runs on current M1 and M2 Macs—tested by us at makema.de.
How do I transfer the embroidery files to my embroidery machine?
If your embroidery machine is Creativate-enabled (formerly mySewnet) – you can recognize this by a mySewnet logo on your Husqvarna VIKING, PFAFF, or Singer machine – you can transfer the files directly to the machine or cloud via Wi-Fi.
For all other embroidery machines, e.g. from Brother, Bernina, Janome, W6, Veritas, Bernette etc. you use a USB stick.
