Sulky Thermofix

Sulky® Thermofix is a high-quality, iron-on interfacing that allows you to permanently secure fabric layers, appliqués, or patches – without any additional stitching. The heat-resistant adhesive layer bonds securely to your fabric, remaining soft and flexible, and is suitable for almost all materials. Thermofix is a reliable aid, especially in the creative field and for textile DIY projects.

Application is incredibly simple: Cut, iron on, let it cool – and your patch is rock-solid. Even after repeated washing, Thermofix delivers what it promises: a reliable bond without altering the feel of the fabric. A must-have for creative minds who want to work quickly and cleanly.

1. Pre-iron the fabric in the desired area to remove any unevenness.
2. Roughly cut the Thermofix to the back of the patch.
3. Place the patch and Thermofix between two layers of silicone paper.
4. Press with the iron (setting: 3 points) for 10-15 seconds.
5. Remove silicone paper and cut off any excess Thermofix along the patch contour.
6. Place the patch on the backing fabric and iron again for 10-15 seconds.
7. For optimal adhesion, also iron from the back of the fabric.

Notice: Always use silicone paper or baking paper to protect the iron.
