I devoured the book on its release day. A fairytale plot set in the fictional town of Melidiya – the main character, Naima, embarks on a fateful journey toward a new beginning and, in the process, makes a name for herself with her talent for sewing.

As a sewing fan, I can clearly see that the author knows her craft—a delight! But I wouldn't say this is a great story just for sewing fans, because it draws you into an enchanting oriental world, with romance, bold decisions, and deep characters to meet.

I look forward to more titles from Marit Warncke.

Our protagonist is Naima, who breaks free from her rut and begins to fight for her dream and make it come true. It quickly becomes clear that it's not just a talent, but that there's more to it than that. She fearlessly confronts her destiny and faces it with courage and strength, even when it seems hopeless.

Want to learn more about this fantastic first chapter in the series? The author brings the world to life. The smells described are almost tangible. Descriptions of the surroundings bring everything to life. Each character is unique and grows beyond their limits to discover their true selves.

Conclusion: An incredible start to a magical series. The beautiful writing style makes you not want to put the book down. A truly heartwarming book, a highlight. Recommended for anyone who wants to keep magic in their hearts.
