SULKY Puffy 4 sheets 20 × 30 cm – 3 mm

SULKY Puffy adds raised 3D effects to embroidery designs – ideal for lettering, logos and appliqué. The 3 mm embroidery foam is stitched over and then removed along the perforation. Use specially created, closed embroidery designs, such as Puffy fonts from CREATIVATE Elite.

  • 4 sheets, each 20 × 30 cm
  • 3 mm thick
  • White for light fabrics and black for dark fabrics
  • Soft version for flexible textiles such as shirts and sweatshirts
  • Firm version for caps and sturdy fabrics

overview

3D fleece is a high-quality, sheet-shaped polyethylene foam that creates three-dimensional effects in machine embroidery. It is particularly suitable for raised lettering, logos, and appliqués with depth. During embroidery, the closed-cell foam is perforated by the needle, forming a raised surface that gives the design a three-dimensional effect. Important: Special 3D embroidery files, digitized as closed contours, are required for processing to achieve a clean result. After the embroidery process, excess foam can be easily peeled away along the contours. The material returns to its original shape and permanently retains its volume. It is not washable and therefore primarily suitable for decorative projects.
Available in a set of 4 assorted colors and in soft or hard versions.

How does embroidery with 3D fleece work?

The stabilizer is placed under the embroidery motif. It is perforated during embroidery, creating a three-dimensional effect. The excess edges can be easily removed after embroidery.

Do I need special embroidery files for the 3D fleece?
