24V glass base light bulb for PFAFF & Husqvarna VIKING

The glass-base incandescent bulb (wedge/push-in) is a proven light source for sewing and embroidery machines with 24V lighting. We stock it in two versions: 3 watts (corresponding to the standard factory-installed bulb) and 5 watts, the maximum wattage permitted in compatible machines (brighter than 3W, but only permissible if the machine supports 5W).

Important: This bulb only fits machines that already use this type of glass base/wedge bulb. Some models have LED versions – this bulb is not the right solution for those.

This lamp is a 24V glass-base push-in bulb for sewing machines with a compatible lamp socket. We offer it in 3W (as factory-installed) or 5W, the maximum permissible wattage for approved machines. It is intended as a replacement part when the original work light dims or fails, and restores clear illumination of the needle and stitch area.

1. Switch off the machine and unplug it.
2. Open the cover/lamp area according to the machine manual.
3. Pull the old glass-base light bulb straight out (do not twist).
4. Insert the new lamp straight until it is secure.
5. Close the cover, plug it in, and perform a function test.
   
   Note: Do not touch the glass with greasy fingers – it is best to use a clean cloth.
