BERNINA Straight Stitch and CutWork Stitch Plate for 5.5 mm Hook Systems

The BERNINA Straight Stitch and CutWork Stitch Plate combines precise straight stitch guidance with creative flexibility. It supports a clean stitch pattern for straight seams and stabilizes the fabric for fine sewing, patchwork, and embroidery. Thanks to the slightly larger needle hole, it is also suitable for CutWork and CrystalWork techniques with the appropriate tools. The orange marking ensures quick distinction from other stitch plates. This version was specially developed for BERNINA sewing machines of the 4, 5, and 7 series with a 5.5 mm stitch width and is not suitable for 9 mm machines.

Turn off your BERNINA sewing machine and remove the standard stitch plate according to your machine's instructions. Then, insert the straight stitch and CutWork stitch plate, ensuring it is correctly and securely seated. The orange marking helps you quickly identify the specialty stitch plate.

For classic sewing, select a suitable straight stitch and check that the needle passes centrally through the needle hole before starting. For embroidery, CutWork, or CrystalWork projects, use the respective settings, tools, and materials provided for them. After completing the specialty work, it is recommended to reinsert the appropriate standard stitch plate for wide utility or decorative stitches.
