Attach the BERNINA Jeans Foot #8 to your compatible sewing machine and select a straight stitch. For thick fabrics, multiple layers, or intersecting seams, a sturdy universal, jeans, or topstitch needle of appropriate size is recommended. Lay the fabric flat under the presser foot and guide it evenly without pulling. For particularly precise results on sturdy materials and strong seams, a suitable straight stitch plate can be used. Before the first stitch, check with the handwheel that the the needle passes freely through the needle hole.
