Instead of pressing the fabric between two frames, it is securely held in place with side clamps. This protects delicate materials and ensures smooth, wrinkle-free results – ideal for monograms, appliqués, or small quilts.

Particularly practical: Depending on the BERNINA model and the special foot used, the embroidery area varies slightly:

• BERNINA 8 and 7 series: Uses the full embroidery area of165 mm × 165 mm(6.5" × 6.5")
• New BERNINA 5 Series: Offers an embroidery area of158 mm × 165 mm(6.25" × 6.5")
• When using the cording foot #43 or Echo Quilting and CutWork foot #44C: the usable area is reduced to150 mm × 150 mm(6" × 6") – ideal for special techniques

Thanks to this flexibility, the frame remains precise and comfortable to use in a wide variety of applications – even for demanding projects.
