BERNINA Medium Magnetic Embroidery Hoop – 16.5 × 26.5 cm

The BERNINA medium magnetic hoop makes it easier for you to hoop delicate, thin, or hard-to-reach materials. Its magnetic hooping system securely holds the fabric between the upper and lower hoop, without leaving the typical pressure marks that can occur with conventionally hooped materials. This makes the hoop particularly suitable for demanding fabrics such as velvet, leather, and vinyl, as well as fine materials like organza or chiffon.

You can also position finished garments and bulky projects more comfortably. Jackets, hats, or shorts do not have to be laboriously guided through a classic hoop and firmly clamped. You simply lay the fabric flat on the lower hoop and then secure it with the magnetic upper hoop.

After embroidering, you can lift the upper hoop at one of the corner recesses, realign the material, and reattach it immediately. This makes projects with multiple embroidery areas or recurring motifs particularly easy for you.

With a maximum embroidery area of 165 × 265 mm, the medium magnetic hoop offers sufficient space for medium-sized motifs, logos, lettering, decorative embroideries, and quilt-in-the-hoop projects. The included embroidery template assists you with precise motif placement.

On compatible BERNINA machines, select the hoop under the designation "Mag-M". Before first use, you should check that the hoop center and needle position match. If necessary, you can calibrate the hoop via the machine settings. This embroidery hoop is not intended for CrystalWork applications.

Place the fabric to be embroidered smoothly on the lower frame together with a suitable embroidery stabilizer. Align the magnetic upper frame with the frame coupling and hold it firmly at one of the corner recesses. This reduces the risk of your fingers getting pinched when joining the frame parts.

Carefully lower the upper frame onto the material, ensuring that the upper and lower frames are flush. You can then smooth out the fabric evenly and realign it if necessary.

Attach the hoop to the embroidery module according to the operating instructions of your BERNINA machine. Select the "Mag-M" hoop in the hoop selection. Before the first use or if there is a deviation between the needle position and the center of the hoop, you should calibrate the embroidery hoop in the machine settings.

Before starting embroidery, check that there is no excess fabric under the hoop or within the embroidery area. You should roll up larger amounts of fabric and secure them firmly.

To rehoop, remove the hoop from the machine, lift the upper hoop at a corner recess, and reposition the material. The hoop must not be used for CrystalWork applications.
