Characteristics

The Patchwork Foot #57 enables precise seam allowances of 6 mm and 3 mm, features clearly visible markings for seam guidance, and supports accurate straight stitching. Its sturdy construction ensures smooth fabric feed and consistent results – ideal for patchwork, quilting, and fine piecing work.

Application

For optimal results, sew with a straight stitch, stitch width 0 and a stitch length of approximately 2.
For a seam allowance of 1/4" (6 mm), the fabric edge is guided exactly along the right or left outer edge of the foot.
For a seam allowance of 1/8" (3 mm), the fabric edge is guided along the inner recess of the foot.
The markings on the foot help with starting and stopping the seam exactly, as well as with sewing corners neatly.
