BERNINA Patchwork Foot #97

The BERNINA Patchwork Foot #97 combines a generous sole with clear orientation markings for precise patchwork. The foot's sole is designed to work with the BERNINA sewing system, supporting careful guidance of fabric pieces when sewing them together. Three side notches make it easier to maintain common seam allowances, making the foot a reliable choice for patchwork blocks, straight connecting seams, and accurate topstitching. The foot is designed for BERNINA sewing machines with a 9 mm stitch width. A straight stitch plate is recommended for particularly precise results; a movable seam guide is optionally available.

Attach the BERNINA Patchwork Foot #97 to your compatible BERNINA sewing machine with a 9 mm stitch width and preferably select a straight stitch for patchwork. Align the fabric edges with the side notches of the foot according to the desired seam allowance. The markings assist with 3 mm, 6 mm, and 7.5 mm seam allowances and facilitate the even joining of patchwork pieces.

For particularly precise seams, we recommend using a straight stitch plate. For long, straight seams, the included movable seam guide can provide additional support. It is placed on the sewing bed and serves as a guide for consistent 6 mm seams.
