BERNINA Edgestitch Foot #10

The BERNINA Edgestitch Foot #10 features a guide plate in the center of the foot, which serves as a precise guide for sewing along fabric edges, hems, folds, or existing seams. This makes it particularly easy to create even topstitching with a consistent distance. The presser foot is suitable for topstitching and reinforcing edges as well as for controlled attachment of lace, tapes, and decorative trims. It was developed for BERNINA machines with a maximum stitch width of 5.5 mm and can also be used with 9 mm machines, provided the set stitch width does not exceed 5.5 mm.

Attach the BERNINA Edgestitch Foot #10 to your compatible sewing machine and position the center guide directly on the fabric edge, a folded edge, an existing seam, or a hem. As you sew, the guide follows this reference line, helping you to keep the seam parallel to the edge at a consistent distance.

This foot is particularly suitable for visible topstitching on hems, edges, and pleats, for reinforcing fabric edges, and for attaching lace, ribbons, and trims. For machines with a 9 mm stitch width, the stitch width must be set to a maximum of 5.5 mm before sewing.
