BERNINA Edgestitch Foot #10C

The BERNINA Edgestitch Foot #10C combines precise guidance with versatile applications. Its centrally positioned guide blade serves as an orientation along fabric edges, hems, pleats or existing seams, supporting even, parallel topstitching. This makes the foot suitable for functional edge reinforcements as well as for decorative sewing with lace, ribbons and trims. It was developed for BERNINA sewing machines with a 9 mm stitch width and is particularly helpful when clean lines and controlled distances are paramount.

Attach edgestitch foot #10C to the switched-off sewing machine and select a suitable straight stitch or decorative stitch. The fabric edge, fold edge, or existing seam is guided along the central guide plate while sewing. Depending on the desired seam position, the needle penetrates to the left or right of the guide plate. Before the first stitch, it is advisable to check with the handwheel to ensure the needle passes safely past the guide plate. Then guide the fabric evenly and sew without pulling.
