The BERNINA Edgestitch Foot #10D has a guide plate in the center, which serves as a reliable guide for perfectly parallel seams. This makes topstitching fabric edges, hems, and pleats much easier and more even. Laces, tapes, and other decorative elements can also be precisely attached and sewn on. The D version is designed for the BERNINA Dual Feed system and is suitable for compatible 9mm BERNINA machines. This ensures controlled feeding of the fabric during sewing and allows for even fabric transport.

Attach the BERNINA Edgestitch Foot #10D to your compatible 9mm BERNINA sewing machine with dual feed. For classic topstitching, typically select a straight stitch and place the center guide directly against the fabric edge, fold edge, seam line, or a tape to be sewn on. Guide the fabric evenly along the guide without pulling it sideways.

This allows for precise edge stitching, parallel seams on hems and pleats, and neatly placed lace or tapes. Before sewing, always check that the selected stitch width and needle position match the foot's guide to ensure the needle does not hit the guide plate.
