Bernina zigzag sewing foot with sliding sole #52

The non-stick coated soleplate of the presser foot reduces friction and prevents the material from sticking to the underside of the foot. The zigzag presser foot with sliding sole #52 is used when materials feed poorly during sewing. For leather, imitation leather, plastic, or vinyl, it is recommended to set a slightly longer stitch length and to perform a test seam beforehand. For very stiff leather, a special leather needle can also be used. Otherwise, the process is the same as with a normal zigzag presser foot.
