Brother Overlock Starter Kit 3+1

The Brother Overlock Starter Kit 3+1 can be used for overlock, coverlock, and combined overlock-coverlock machines. Madeira Aerolock 125 is suitable for needle threads and other thread paths where stability and resilience are required. Madeira Aeroflock 100 is preferably threaded into a looper, for example, the lower looper of an overlock machine or the looper of a coverlock machine.

For a classic 4-thread overlock stitch, both needles and one looper can be threaded with Aerolock, while Aeroflock in the remaining looper ensures a particularly soft and full seam. For coverlock stitches, Aeroflock is usually used as the looper thread, while Aerolock is guided through the needles.

The exact thread distribution depends on the machine used, the desired stitch type, and the fabric. Before starting the actual project, a test seam on a fabric scrap is recommended. This allows thread tension, stitch length, cutting width, and differential feed to be adjusted to suit the material. When threading, the sequence specified in the machine's operating manual must always be followed.
