Brother PE Design Plus 2 - embroidery software

Brother PE-Design Plus 2 is a powerful embroidery software that allows you to create, edit, and export your own embroidery designs in various machine formats. The software is aimed at users who want to expand the creative design possibilities of their embroidery machine without having to invest in complex professional digitizing software.

The intuitive user interface allows for a quick start to creating your own embroidery designs. Images, illustrations, or graphics can be imported and converted into embroidery designs using the photo stitch function. This allows you to transform photos, logos, or drawings into embroidery designs.

In addition to creating your own designs, PE-Design Plus 2 offers extensive functions for editing existing embroidery files. Designs can be rotated, mirrored, or scaled. A particularly useful feature is the ability to change the size of an embroidery design without altering the stitch density – ensuring a clean embroidery image even after adjustments.

An integrated application assistant helps you create appliqués and can automatically convert existing embroidery designs into appliqué files. Additionally, FCM files can be exported, allowing appliqué fabrics to be precisely cut with a Brother ScanNCut cutting machine.

With several hundred integrated designs and numerous fonts, the software provides a solid foundation for creative projects. It also supports a large number of common embroidery file formats such as PES, DST, JEF, HUS, and EXP. This allows designs to be used with different embroidery machine brands or exchanged between programs.

PE-Design Plus 2 is used on a computer to create embroidery designs or edit existing ones. Graphics or photos can be imported and automatically converted into embroidery patterns. The designs can then be adjusted, scaled, or combined with lettering.

The finished embroidery files are then exported to a USB drive and stitched on a compatible embroidery machine. The ability to create appliqués and optionally generate cutting files for Brother ScanNCut cutting plotters is particularly useful.
