After a trip through the Baltics, Barbara, the designer of "My Dreams," had the idea of knitting the kind of beautiful mittens that are sold everywhere in Riga. At first, it remained a dream. But now it's come true. She's knitted a wonderfully soft cowl to match a pair of Latvian-style mittens.

The high-quality, exclusive yarn made from organic cashmere wool from Pascuali is also a dream. Paul Pascual sources his cashmere yarn from Outer Mongolia. Because he values the highest quality, but also humane animal husbandry and fair trade and ecologically produced products, he and his team have ensured that their cashmere products are certified organic by the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce. This supports the Mongolian government's efforts to regulate goat farming in an ecologically sustainable manner while respecting the culture and way of life of the herders.

The mittens have a slim silhouette. They start at the opening and end at the toe. First, a solid-colored cuff is knitted, followed by a wristband. The outer and inner sides feature different patterns. These patterns are repeated in the cowl. Both the gloves and cowl feel very comfortable. Because the material is heat-regulating, they are ideal for transitional temperatures as well as freezing temperatures.
