Sulky Filmoplast®

FILMOPLAST® is an adhesive embroidery stabilizer with a backing paper, specially developed for fabrics and textile materials that cannot be directly clamped into an embroidery frame. The self-adhesive stabilizer is first clamped into the frame, then the backing paper is removed and the fabric to be embroidered is simply glued on. This prevents pressure marks or deformation – ideal for delicate fabrics such as velvet, jersey, leather, silk, or terry cloth.

FILMOPLAST® is also the perfect solution for small-format projects such as chest logos, sleeves, trouser legs, or appliqués. It is also suitable for embroidering caps without a cap frame and for embroidery on difficult-to-fix pieces. FILMOPLAST® saves time by eliminating the need for hooping and unhooking, is economical in use, and easy to handle.

Please note: FILMOPLAST® is a clamping aid and does not replace the necessary stabilization of stretchy or elastic fabrics. If necessary, an appropriate nonwoven should also be placed under the fabric and clamped in place.
