The ITH embroidery file "Shooting Star" is a versatile DIY project for your embroidery machine. It allows you to create a soft star-shaped object, complemented by a decorative ribbon tail. Whether as a stylish decorative object, a gift, or—with careful material selection—as a toy for children or dogs: the shooting star is versatile.

The entire shape is worked in the embroidery frame using the tried-and-tested in-the-hoop technique, where all sewing steps are performed by the embroidery machine. All you have to do is add the fabric and ribbons at the right time. Detailed, illustrated step-by-step instructions are included in the download for a perfect result.

The embroidery file is suitable for hoops of 13x18 cm and larger. The actual embroidery motif measures 118.5 mm wide and 113.2 mm high, with a small stitch count of just 720. The attached tail can be freely adjusted in length, depending on whether you use fine satin ribbon or a textured fringe ribbon.

Please note: If the shooting star is used not only as a decorative object but also as a toy, for example, for dogs or small children, careful selection of materials is crucial. Use only certified, saliva-resistant materials and ensure that no small parts or loose fringes are used.
