The Sulky FLASHY patch base is a robust backing material with a sophisticated sheen, specially developed for machine embroidery of decorative patches, emblems, and appliqués. The surface of the FLASHY version subtly reflects light, creating a high-quality look – ideal for anyone who wants to make a stylistic statement with their patches.

Like the classic patch base, FLASHY is tear-resistant, warp-free, and ideal for combining with embroidery stabilizers and adhesive stabilizers like SULKY BSN. Despite its sheen, the surface remains embroiderable and can be cut with standard scissors or plotters. The material can be ironed, sewn, or glued, offering a wide range of applications in fashion, branding, and DIY.

Application
  1. Embroider the motif directly onto the FLASHY base (additional stabilization with embroidery stabilizer is recommended).
  2. Cut out the motif (e.g. with scissors or a plotter).
  3. Cover the back with BSN film, Velcro dots or spray adhesive.
  4. Sew or iron on – your dazzling appearance is ready!
