The PFAFF free-motion darning foot (accessory class J) is a versatile specialty foot for creative sewing projects that require maximum freedom of movement. Due to its special design, this foot is particularly suitable forFreehand embroidery,Plug,Quiltingas well as for appliqué and decorative stitch techniques.

It is used whenever the sewing machine's feed dogs are lowered or deactivated. The fabric is guided freely by hand, creating custom designs, decorative patterns, or creative seam guides without the need for the feed mechanism.

The free-motion darning foot is made of transparent plastic and offers a clear view of the needle and the fabric area. This facilitates precise work and enables the finest detail – both for artistic quilting and for repairing damaged fabric.

Please note: The foot is designed for machines with accessory class J. Suitable variants may be available for other classes.
