The Prym transparent ironing ruler (30 × 10 cm) is a heat-resistant tool for preparing hems, edges, and seam allowances. It features a long, straight edge with a right angle and a long edge with a gentle curve – ideal for straight edges and soft curves. Radii of 3 cm and 4 cm are also integrated for neatly marking curves and circles.

The thin, transparent ruler is made of durable resin material (100% resin) and is designed so you can iron directly over it. Prym states that ironing up to 3 dots (depending on the fabric type) is possible. This saves you time: position the fabric, fold it over, iron – done.

Integrated 3 cm and 4 cm radii assist in marking curves. Its design is intended for repeated, time-saving use and allows ironing directly on the ruler.

Application

Place the fabric edge on the ironing ruler at the desired hem width. Fold the fabric over the ruler and iron the edge directly. For curves, use the rounded side or the integrated radii (3 cm/4 cm) to prepare even curves. You can then topstitch or further process the hem as usual.
