Characteristics

The medium-length Prym sewing needles are made of hardened steel and combine a sturdy design with pleasant spring hardness. Their finely and slenderly ground tips allow for a clean penetration, while the smooth, pore-free coated surface facilitates gliding through the fabric. The burr-free punched and comparatively small needle eyes ensure reliable thread guidance and protect the fabric. Due to their medium-long shape, the needles can be guided particularly directly and are ideally suited for precise hand sewing. The assortment of sizes from No. 3 to No. 7 offers a practical selection for different fabric thicknesses and sewing threads.

Application

Select a needle from the assortment that matches the fabric thickness and the yarn used. Thread the yarn through the needle eye and secure the thread end with a knot, depending on the sewing task. Carefully push the needle through the fabric, making sure not to unnecessarily spread the fabric fibers apart.

For fine fabrics and thinner yarns, the finer needles in the assortment are generally suitable. For thicker fabrics or stronger yarns, a stronger needle can be chosen. After sewing, the needle should be stored dry and protected.
