PRYM Rub-on Patch REPAIR KIT

Prym's Rub-on Patch REPAIR KIT offers a well-conceived solution for repairing a wide variety of textiles. In one set, it combines three specialized patches, specifically developed for different material requirements: EXTREME for robust outdoor and functional fabrics, STRETCH for elastic materials, and MERINO for fine, delicate fabrics.

Thanks to rub-on technology, the patches are not traditionally ironed on, but applied through firm pressure and friction. This ensures a uniform bond with the fabric, without heat exposure or sewing. The different shapes and sizes allow for precise and material-appropriate repair of tears, holes, or worn areas.

The result is a durable, flexible, and visually discreet repair that integrates into everyday life – whether for outdoor clothing, sports textiles, or fine wool fabrics.

The REPAIR KIT combines three different patch types, each optimally suited for specific materials. The EXTREME Patch is made from a robust material blend of 90% polyamide and 10% elastane and is designed for high stress. The STRETCH Patch is made from 100% recycled polyester and is particularly suitable for stretchy fabrics. For delicate materials such as wool, the MERINO Patch made from 100% merino wool is used.

Regarding care, EXTREME and STRETCH Patches are washable up to 40°C and iron-safe up to a maximum of 160°C. The MERINO Patch is designed for more gentle applications and can be washed at up to 30°C and ironed at a maximum of 120°C.

The damaged area should be clean and dry. The patch is placed directly over the affected area and then rubbed vigorously with even pressure. The friction activates the adhesive layer and permanently bonds with the material.
