Application

Place the sewing ruler on the fabric or pattern paper and align it with an existing cutting line, grainline, or previously set marking points. You can draw straight lines and recurring distances using the centimeter scales.

For waist, hip, collar, or armhole lines, use a suitable curved outer edge. Carefully move the ruler until the curve harmoniously connects all the set points. Then, trace the line with an appropriate marking tool.

Hem and seam allowances can be marked parallel to the existing cutting edge. For buttonholes, button rows, or pleats, first determine the required measurements and then transfer the distances evenly onto the fabric or pattern.
