TheSchmetz Overlock Jersey Needle ELx705 SUK CF in size 80is specifically tailored to the requirements ofOverlock and coverlock machinesBased on the proven jersey needle technology, it was developed for use inhigh sewing speeds,multi-thread stitchesandelastic materialssuch as jersey, interlock or sweat.

Hermedium ball tipprotects the stitch pattern during sewing and prevents runs or fabric damage.reinforced shaftensures stability – even with multi-layered fabrics or difficult transitions. Thanks to theChrome platingThe needle is particularly durable, heat-resistant and glides smoothly through the fabric – ideal for professional seams with an even stitch pattern.

Important: This needle is only compatible with machines that use theELx705 systemsupport – this includes many household overlocks and coverlocks from brands such as Brother, Pfaff, Elna or Janome.

Application

Suitable for:

Application tips:

  • Use only in machines with ELx705 system (check operating instructions)
  • For very elastic fabrics (e.g. Lycra, swimwear)ELx705 CF Stretchevade
  • Check stitch pattern & change needle immediately if thread breaks or stitch skips
  • Combine with high-quality yarn & matching stitch length for clean results
  • Replace needle regularly – at the latest after 6–8 hours of sewing time
