Knitting pattern for socks HELGE (PDF)

A unique sock design and many possibilities to combine colors and yarns.

HelgeSocks are striped socks in the truest sense. Every two rows, the solid main color alternates with one or more other colors. Slipped stitches are formed from the main color on the upper and upper foot, which are then cabled to the right and left with the neighboring stitches in the first row of the next main color stripe.

The heel of the HelgeSocks is the Shadow Wrap heel, an easy-to-knit boomerang heel. For the toe, I chose the ribbon toe. However, other variations are also possible for both the heel and toe.

Required material

• Sock yarn 4-ply – 420 m/100 g main yarn approx. 50 g,
  second yarn approx. 20 g (for the HelgeSocks in candy colors, three additional yarns of approx. 7 g each)
• Double pointed needles size 2.5 mm
