The hooping aid is attached to the edge of a table. A stabilizer (e.g., tear-away interfacing) is placed over the lower part of the sock frame. The sock is pulled over the hooping aid, positioned, and then secured with the upper frame. The frame is then removed, and the free leg of the sock is pulled over the edge of the frame to prevent it from being accidentally stitched.

The finished frame is now inserted into the machine's sock frame holder. The machine will embroider the left sock first. If the motif is identical, it only needs to be positioned once – the right sock will automatically be correctly positioned. For efficient work, we recommend hooping the second sock of the next pair while the first is being embroidered.
