Application

First, choose the stabilizer based on material and desired result. Additionally, match the design density, thread, and needle to your project, and if using unfamiliar fabrics, create a test embroidery.

  • Woven fabrics and embroidery felt: Hoop Tear Easy together with the fabric and carefully tear away after embroidering.
  • Jersey, sweatshirt fabric, and stretch fabrics: Place Soft’n Sheer Plus underneath, hoop together, and trim close to the edge of the design after embroidering.
  • Terry cloth, plush, and high-pile fabrics: Place Solvy on top of the fabric, hoop with it, and then remove any remaining residue with water.
  • Use white Bobbin thread in the bobbin, provided your machine's instructions and your embroidery project require it.
  • Insert SCHMETZ embroidery needle NM 75 if your household embroidery machine supports the 130/705 H-E system.
  • Watch the video course before your first project or as a reference for the three types of stabilizers.

Yes, provided your domestic embroidery machine supports the 130/705 H-E needle system. Multi-needle and commercial embroidery machines may require different needle systems; please check your machine's manual for details.
