Materials

  • 2 x 100g yarns (merino wool, alpaca, cashmere, etc.) with a yardage of approximately 200m/100g. Both yarns should contrast significantly in color.

The sample loop was made with

  • 75g Malabrigo, Arroyo Wabi Sabi (252), 305m/100g
  • 100g Malabrigo Rios - Glitter (48), 192m/100g

A test knitter double-knitted her loop with cashmere sock yarn.

  • 1 circular knitting needle 5 mm / 60 or 80 cm
  • Possibly 1 needle set 5 mm
  • 8 stitch markers, at least 2 of which have an opening
  • 1 sewing needle
  • 1 pair of scissors
