The NelinaSocks areThese pretty sneaker socks with a heel tab begin with a provisional cast-on using the crochet hook. Then, a double cuff is worked into which a heel tab is worked using short rows. A delicate striped pattern is worked on the front of the cuff. Once both sides of the cuff are finished, the stitches from the crochet chain at the beginning are picked up and knitted together with the last cuff round.

The sock pattern is a simple knit and purl stitch pattern. After a few rounds of the pattern, the heel increase begins on the back of the sock. This adds width to the sock at the transition from the short shaft to the foot and ensures a perfect fit. Since sneaker socks don't have a shaft to prevent slipping, the choice of heel is particularly important here.
