Knitting pattern for socks PILLA (PDF)

The pretty PillaSocks are distinguished by the trim on the upper, which can have different "arrow" directions on each sock. But they also have other distinctive features. First, the stitch pick-up for each sock begins with a double thumb thread in the same color as the main trim color.

The heel is a heel increase with side increases on both sides. This creates pointed gussets that are noticeable because they are knitted in garter stitch.

The foot is knitted entirely in stockinette stitch. A special technique is used only for the rounded toe.

• This is what you need for the Pilla socks:
• 100 g sock yarn 420 m/100 g (GarnA)
• approx. 20 g contrasting yarn 420 m/100 g (yarn B)
• Double pointed needles 2.5 mm, alternatively circular knitting needle 80 cm or double pointed needles such as Neko Bambus Flex 2.5 mm
• 1 crochet hook 2.5 - 3 mm
• 1 pair of scissors
• 2 stitch markers (=MM)
• 1 sewing needle
