Knitting pattern for RUNI socks (PDF)

RuniSocks are far too good to be hidden under trouser legs. With their pretty ruffled edges, rolled cuffs, and embroidered floral vines, they're real eye-catchers and go perfectly with a light summer dress or cropped trousers. Perfect with sneakers.

Otherwise, the RuniSocks are quick and easy to knit. The heel is a heel increase with side spikes, which stand out because they are knitted in garter stitch. A rounded ribbon toe completes each of these playful, girlish socks.

• 100 g sock yarn 420 m/100 g (GarnA)
• 20 g contrasting yarn 420 m/100 g (yarn B)
• 2 double-pointed needles 2.5 mm, at least one of which has a needle length of 20 cm.
  Alternatively: 2 circular knitting needles
  2.5 mm, 80 cm or knitting needles such as Neko Bamboo Flex 2.5 mm (knitters who knit tightly may use 2.75 mm)
• 1 pair of scissors
• 2 stitch markers (=MM)
• 1 sewing needle
