The 1.5 mm thick needle felt is dimensionally stable, soft, fray-resistant, and perfect for patches, appliqués, in-the-hoop (ITH) projects, and more – machine washable and ideally suited for embroidery machines.

TheFelty embroidery felt set in basic colorsContains 12 high-quality felt sheets made of 100% polyester with a thickness of approximately 1.5 mm. The machine-washable needle felt is ideal for machine embroidery, appliqués, emblems, ITH projects, and creative DIY projects. Thanks to its special processing with microscopically small polyester barbs, the felt won't fray and retains its shape – even with raw edges.

Felty can be used with tear-away backing, self-adhesive stabilizer, or spray adhesive. The smooth surface ensures precise stitching results. The sheets measure approximately 29.5 × 21 cm (approximately A4). With a total embroidery area of 7434 cm², the set is ideal for frequent stitchers, creatives, and professional applications.

Application

Felty is ideal for:

  • Embroidery patterns with visible edges– does not fray
  • combined sewing and embroidery projects– stable and flexible at the same time

Suitable for household and multi-needle machines. Ideal for combination with tear-off fleece, spray adhesive, or Filmoplast.

Can I embroider Felty directly, without backing?

For optimal results, we also recommend tear-off fleece, filmoplast or spray adhesive – depending on the project.

Is the felt available in other colors or as a roll?
