TheSulky Glowy Embroidery Thread Setconsists of five machine embroidery threads, each 100 m long, on practical snap spools. The specialty threads are available in five vibrant colors:Purple, blue, yellow, pink and whiteThey have a luminescent property that is activated by prior light absorption and remains visible in the dark.

The yarn consists of100% polyester, is robust, easy-care and tear-resistant - ideal for creative and functional embroidery projects such as children's clothing, decorations, bags, safety textiles or seasonal accents (e.g. Halloween or camping accessories).

The Glowy thread is suitable for all common household embroidery machines and can be easily processed like standard 40-gauge thread. Snap spools prevent the thread from tangling and facilitate organization in your yarn stash. All colors are designed for everyday use and machine compatibility.

Do I have to pay attention to anything special when embroidering?

Glowy can be used like regular embroidery thread with a thread count of 40. For optimal results, use a slightly reduced speed.

Can I combine Glowy with other yarns?

Absolutely – it is ideal as an effect yarn in combination with rayon, polyester or metallic yarn for creative designs.

How long does the yarn glow in the dark?

After charging (e.g. by daylight), the yarn glows gently for several hours – depending on the light intensity and duration of the “charging”.
