Thermogauze

SULKY Thermogauzeis a thermosensitive stabilizer made of 100% viscose that dissolves completely when exposed to heat. It was specially developed for lace motifs and delicate embroidery where no residue or visible backing material is desired. The fabric serves as a temporary embroidery backing, is clamped directly into the embroidery frame, and can be removed with an iron or press after completion – completely without steam.

At approximately 180°C and normal humidity, the stabilizer disappears within about 15 seconds. It turns light brown, leaving no residue on the embroidery or the iron. Any residue can be easily brushed or rubbed away. The result: a virtually invisible stabilizer that showcases your embroidery motif.

A resealable bag protects the material from moisture and sunlight. It should always be stored in a cool, dry, and dark place.

• Clamping:Clamp SULKY Thermogauze directly into the embroidery frame.
• Embroider:Embroider your motif as usual.
• Dissolve:After embroidery, treat the fabric with an iron or a heat press (180 °C, no steam).
• Clean:If necessary, remove any remaining residue with a brush or by rubbing.
• Storage:Then store the fleece back in the bag, protected from light and moisture.
