When structure becomes part of the design.
Filaine is a particularly thick embroidery thread for rustic embroidery effects. At the same time, you can roughen Filaine to a fluffy, soft surface with our special Filaine brush.
These embroidery files are specially designed for use with Filaine yarn – a fancy yarn with a woolly surface that can be roughened with a wire brush after embroidery. This creates a fluffy, fur-like texture, ideal for animal motifs, hair, costumes, or fluffy details. All files are designed for this effect and take into account the yarn's special properties – for example, larger surfaces and suitable stitch types. You can download the designs immediately after purchase and create them using standard household embroidery machines. Combined with the matching brush, they create a high-quality, textile effect.
