The bernette b08 Straight Stitch is a high-speed household sewing machine dedicated exclusively to straight stitch. It offers up to 1,600 stitches per minute, a powerful DC motor and a robust metal housing.

The 225 mm wide and 140 mm high workspace, 60 × 40 cm extension table, knee lifter, automatic thread cutter and independent bobbin motor support an efficient workflow.

Included are the extension table, straight-stitch foot, standard straight-stitch plate, narrow straight-stitch foot, foot control, knee lifter, three bobbins, BERNINA HLx5 high-speed needle set, Mettler thread starter kit with three spools, power cable, accessory box, two screwdrivers, brush, fabric guide, large spool holder, felt disc, spool net and oil.

Application

The b08 is suitable for long straight seams, precise topstitching, patchwork, quilts, garments, bags and projects with several fabric layers. Adjust the speed to the material.

Use only HLx5 needles made for high-speed machines and match needle size, thread and tension to the fabric. For free-motion quilting, cover the feed dog with the optional darning plate; it cannot be lowered.
