The BERNINA B 580 Liberty Edition including embroidery module M with Smart Drive Technology combines two names that have stood for quality, design and craftsmanship for generations: BERNINA and LIBERTY. While BERNINA stands for Swiss precision, reliable technology and sophisticated operation, LIBERTY brings its distinctive floral design language to this limited edition.
The exclusive Glen-Lyon-Blooms design on the machine cover was inspired by the elaborate fabric designs of the Liberty design studio in London. It gives the B 580 Liberty Edition a special, personal charisma and makes it a machine that not only impresses with its functionality, but also makes a real statement in the sewing room. A dust cover and a trolley set in Liberty design are included.
Technically, the B 580 Liberty Edition is a versatile sewing, quilting and embroidery machine for demanding creative projects. The BERNINA Dual Transport supports even fabric feeding for fine, smooth and multi-layered materials. The BERNINA Hook, adaptive thread tension, automatic thread cutter and automatic presser foot lifter ensure precise stitches and pleasant processes during sewing.
With the included embroidery module M with Smart Drive Technology, the machine is extended by a comfortable embroidery function. The SDT technology supports quiet, smooth movements of the embroidery module and precise embroidery processes. Patterns can be positioned, mirrored, rotated, scaled and combined directly on the color touchscreen. Own embroidery files can be easily imported via USB.
A special part of this edition are the 32 exclusive Liberty decorative stitches and 91 Liberty embroidery designs. They pick up on LIBERTY's romantic, floral handwriting and open up numerous possibilities for individual clothing, decorative quilts, accessories, bags and personal gifts. The B 580 Liberty Edition thus combines powerful BERNINA technology with a design concept that visibly shapes creative projects.
Technically, the B 580 LIBERTY Edition is based on the firmware and functionality of the BERNINA B 570 QE. According to BERNINA, however, this independently numbered special edition is explicitly not a QE model.
Characteristics
The focus is on an even, precise stitch pattern – regardless of the material. The powerful hook ensures smooth operation and clean thread formation. Comfort functions such as automatic thread cutting, individually programmable settings, and a clear display significantly simplify daily work. Well-designed quilting functions and the integrated dual feed make the machine particularly versatile and reliable.
A total of 349 built-in embroidery designs are available for embroidery. Of these, 91 are exclusive LIBERTY embroidery designs specially curated for this special edition.
Application
The BERNINA B 580 Liberty Edition is ideal for creative sewing, quilting, and embroidery projects with a personal touch. Sew clothes, bags, accessories, home textiles, or quilts and use the exclusive Liberty decorative stitches to purposefully design hems, edges, and decorative details.
With the included embroidery module M, the 91 Liberty embroidery designs can be used directly or combined with your own embroidery files. Floral motifs, monograms, and decorative elements transform simple fabrics into individual unique pieces. This way, for example, embroidered blouses, cushions, patchwork blankets, bags, or personal gifts in the unmistakable BERNINA x LIBERTY style can be created.
The built-in LIBERTY embroidery designs include motifs for specific in-the-hoop projects: eight different Flower Garden blocks, two bag appliqués and a sewing pouch. BERNINA also presents a 173 × 173 cm Glen Lyon sampler quilt. The corresponding project instructions are to be made available at bernina.com.

Du suchst die beste Qualität, Freiarm und den besten Support? Dann bist du mit der Bernina B500 bei Make ma perfekt aufgehoben. Ich hatte vorab wirklich 1 Mio. Fragen, dass es mir schon fast peinlich war. Aber Marit hat alle Fragen vorab beantwortet. Ursprünglich wollte ich die Bernette B70 haben, aber die Vorteile vom Freiarm, die intuitive Bedienung machen die schöne Maschine für mich perfekt. Ich würde gerne mehr Sterne geben, weil ihr einfach sehr modern seid!! Davon können scih andere noch eine Scheibe abschneiden, so viel verstaubte Geschäfte da draußen.
Ich bin total happy mit der Brother Celeste Stickmaschine. Besonders die Zwei-Punkt-Positionierung ist für mich ein echtes Highlight – damit lässt sich das Motiv viel genauer platzieren, was im Alltag einfach super hilfreich ist.
Vor dem Kauf wurde ich vom Team von Makema.de richtig gut beraten. Alle meine Fragen wurden geduldig beantwortet, sodass ich ein sehr gutes Gefühl hatte. Am Ende habe ich die Maschine sogar direkt vor Ort abgeholt, weil ich das Schätzchen unbedingt sofort mitnehmen wollte.
Seit inzwischen 6 Wochen ist sie bei mir im Einsatz und ich bin immer noch begeistert: Sie stickt leise, schnell und sehr sauber. Für mich bisher eine richtig gute Entscheidung.
Die Brother F580 als kombinierte Näh- und Stickmaschine ist einfach genial. Sehr schnell umgebaut, einfach in der Bedienung und ein wirklich(!) sehr ruhiges Nähen. Super!
Nachdem ich von der Singer SE auf die Bernina gewechselt bin, hatte ich erst ein paar Bedenken. Aber jetzt möchte ich die Bernina nicht mehr missen! Bin super zufrieden!
