BERNINA Pintuck Foot - 3 Grooves #30

The BERNINA Pintuck Foot #30 was developed for decorative pintucks on heavy and stable fabrics. Its three grooves serve as guides for already sewn pintucks and support precise, even work with parallel rows. In conjunction with a 4 mm twin needle, striking, sculptural fabric details are created, which are excellent for jeans, suit linings, and sturdy home textiles. The central cutout keeps the stitch area clearly visible, allowing pintucks to be placed cleanly and with control. The presser foot is also versatile for mini piping, soutache, elastic gathering, smocking, as well as entredeux and ladder stitching.

Install the BERNINA Pintuck Foot #30 on your compatible BERNINA sewing machine and use a 4mm twin needle. First, sew the initial pintuck with a suitable straight stitch. For subsequent pintucks, guide the already sewn pintuck into one of the grooves on the underside of the foot. This ensures that the remaining rows stay evenly aligned and maintain consistent spacing.

The Pintuck Foot #30 is particularly well-suited for firm materials. It creates prominent, three-dimensional pintucks on denim, suiting fabric, or home textiles. Depending on your project, you can also use the foot for mini piping, couched cording, elastic gathering, smocking, or decorative entredeux and pin-tuck work.
