BERNINA Straight and CutWork Stitch Plate for 9mm Hook Systems

The BERNINA Straight and CutWork Stitch Plate for 9mm sewing machines combines precise straight stitch quality with creative versatility. Its design stabilizes the fabric in the needle area, supporting controlled guidance for fine, densely woven, and multi-layered materials. The specially designed needle hole is larger than that of a pure straight stitch plate, providing the necessary freedom for CutWork and CrystalWork applications. At the same time, the material guidance remains precise enough for clean straight stitches, embroidery, and patchwork. The orange marking makes the stitch plate quickly identifiable among accessories. This variant was developed for compatible BERNINA sewing machines from series 4, 5, and 7 with a 9mm stitch width.

Switch off your BERNINA sewing machine and remove the inserted needle plate according to your machine's instructions. If necessary, clean the area around the feed dog and hook, then correctly insert the Straight Stitch and CutWork needle plate. Use it for centered straight stitches, suitable embroidery, and CutWork and CrystalWork applications with the respective designated accessories. Before selecting zigzag, wide utility, or decorative stitches, replace the needle plate with a suitable version. Before each project, check that the needle, needle plate, and selected stitch are compatible with each other.
