Cord foot

The Husqvarna VIKING cording foot was specially developed for the precise sewing of cords, narrow ribbons, or soutache. An integrated guide in the foot holds the material securely in place while sewing, ensuring professional results with decorative stitches. Its robust construction makes it suitable for even the most demanding projects. Use with a zigzag stitch (stitch length approx. 1.5 mm) makes sewing easy and clean. For even more control, the cording foot can be optionally combined with a ribbon or cord guide (available separately).

How to use the cording foot correctly:

1. Select zigzag stitch, set stitch length to 1.5 mm.
2. Adjust stitch width to the cord or tape width.
3. Attach the cording foot and place the material in the integrated guide.
4. Sew slowly – the material will be stitched evenly.
