OurArtificial leather roll 66×45 cmis a flexible, tear-resistant material with a fine leather look and a soft backing. Robust enough for bags and furniture, soft enough for clothing and accessories – and fully compatible with sewing and embroidery machines. The backing is pleasantly smooth, making hooping and sewing easier. Available in many colors – from matte to glossy – with lasting colorfastness, even in sunlight.

Is the artificial leather suitable for embroidery machines?

Yes – it can be easily embroidered even with embroidery-intensive motifs, and the textile backing helps it retain its shape. For clean results, we recommend using stabilizers (e.g., Sulky Filmoplast) to glue the faux leather to the frame rather than stretching it. This prevents embroidery frame marks.

Which needle & stitch length?

Use universal or microtex needles, ideally with a stitch length of at least 3 mm (3.5–4 mm for topstitching). Thicker embroidery motifs are possible with good stabilization of the backing.

Is the material vegan?

Yes – it is a high-quality synthetic leather based on plastic and contains no animal components.
