Product details

overview

ThePFAFF relief embroidery foot set (JL)is a special presser foot set developed for implementing structured 3D embroidery techniques with your PFAFF embroidery machine. Whether thick cords, wool yarns, or decorative ribbons – with this foot, you can incorporate materials directly into your embroidery designs without them slipping or becoming messy.

The set consists of two different relief embroidery feet with differently sized guides, suitable for thinner or thicker materials. The foot holds the special thread precisely in place while your embroidery machine stitches over the desired motif – the result is striking, tactile designs with depth and character.

Ideal for creative projects with a vintage look, modern textured embroidery, nameplates with wool yarn, floral relief patterns, or even elegant appliqués on home decor, clothing, or accessories. The relief embroidery foot (also known as the couching foot) is used by many creatives to add texture and personality to projects.

The set is compatible with PFAFF machines of the J and L group – including models such as thecreative 3.0,4.5,iconorperformance icon.

FAQ

Further information in our frequently asked questions.

What is a relief embroidery foot?

A relief or couching embroidery foot precisely guides special yarns such as cord or wool and allows the machine to embroider over them – for 3D patterns with texture.

Do I have to guide the yarn by hand?

No, the embroidery foot holds the thread securely. All you have to do is thread it – the machine will guide you through the embroidery process. Provided you have a suitable embroidery file.
