PRYM Rub-on Patch MERINO

The Rub-on Patch MERINO from PRYMxFABPATCH is a modern solution for repairing and embellishing delicate wool textiles. Developed specifically for materials such as merino wool, cashmere, and fine knitwear, it allows for a nearly invisible repair of small holes, tears, or worn areas. The patches are not ironed on or sewn on, but instead are permanently bonded to the surface by targeted rubbing.

Each pack contains two patches of different sizes: an oval patch (6 x 8.8 cm) for larger damaged areas and a round patch (3.5 x 3.5 cm) for pinpoint repairs. The color options black, light gray, and navy are deliberately neutral to blend harmoniously with high-quality textiles.

The application requires no heat, no sewing, and no additional tools. This makes the system ideal for delicate fabrics where classic repair methods would be unsuitable. After rubbing, a flexible, textile bond is created that adapts to the material and maintains wearing comfort.

The MERINO Rub-on Patches are made from a specially developed, flexible material that adapts optimally to fine textiles. Each pack contains two patches: an oval patch measuring 6 x 8.8 cm and a round patch measuring 3.5 x 3.5 cm. The color options black, light gray, and navy allow for discreet integration into various garments. The patches are washable up to 40 °C while maintaining their adhesion and flexibility. Application without heat protects delicate fibers. After application, the patches are also iron-resistant up to a maximum of 120 °C, which means subsequent ironing of textiles is also possible without problems.

The damaged area should be clean and dry. The appropriate patch is cut to the desired size or used directly. It is then placed on the affected area and thoroughly rubbed in with even pressure. This permanently bonds the material to the fabric. Maximum adhesion is reached after 72 hours.
