Characteristics

Prym's pointed embroidery needles are distinguished by their excellent craftsmanship. Made of hardened steel, they offer a balanced spring tension that is noticeable during use: the needle always provides reliable support, preventing damage to the material or distortion of the fabric. Their finely ground point allows for clean penetration into dense or delicate fabrics – such as silk or whitework embroidery. The symmetrically punched eye is burr-free and makes threading your yarn considerably easier – a real advantage when working with fine threads. The surface is smoothly coated, allowing the needles to glide effortlessly through the material and ensuring comfortable use. The assortment pack, containing sizes 18–22, offers a versatile selection, providing the perfect starting point for working with different fabric and yarn weights.

Application

These embroidery needles are specifically designed for fine needlework – such as silk or whitework embroidery, but also any other delicate embroidery that requires a fine, smooth-gliding tool. Choose a suitable needle size (No. 18, 20, or 22), thread your embroidery floss, and gently guide the needle through your fabric. Thanks to the finely ground point and smooth coated surface, the needle glides effortlessly through the fabric, and the burr-free punched eye facilitates threading. For optimal results, be sure to select the correct thread material for the fabric and needle size. After use, store the needles safely and protect them from corrosion.
