Sealing film

Sulky's transparent sealing film is a professional material for sealing embroidery on water-repellent textiles. Originally developed for industrial use, it is now also available in a handy format (20 x 30 cm) for home use. The film is ironed on from the back and fuses with the fabric – ideal for embroidered rain jackets, softshell jackets, or outdoor bags. This reliably seals the small holes created during embroidery, maintaining the water-repellent properties.

Application:The foil is cut approximately 1 cm larger than the embroidery, placed with the smooth side on the back of the fabric, and fixed with an iron or press for a few seconds. Important: Always work with baking paper and test on an inconspicuous area first.

1. Finish embroidery and lay fabric flat.
2. Cut the foil approximately 1 cm larger than the embroidery motif.
3. Place the smooth side on the back of the embroidery.
4. Place baking paper on top and iron for 2-3 seconds with pressure (without moving!).
5. Test on an inconspicuous area first – ironing for too long can cause stains.
