Application

Always match thread, needle and stitch to the material and the operating instructions of your overlock machine.

  • Thread the four cones of the same colour according to your machine's threading path.
  • Use the jersey needle for suitable knitted fabrics and the universal needle for many woven fabrics.
  • Before inserting, expressly check whether your machine supports the ELx705 needle system.
  • First test thread tension, differential feed and stitch length on a scrap of fabric.
