overview

TildaSocks are striped socks for women. They are knitted using at least two different colors. If the color contrast is strong, the decorative lines look as if small pearls were incorporated. But this is not the case. The apparent pearls are actually simply created by purl stitches. If you're working with multiple colors, you can easily use mini skeins or even leftover sock yarn.

In addition to the stripes and decorative lines, the TildaSocks feature a reinforced heart heel and the popular sling star toe.

As with many sockshype sock designs, TildaSocks also use special knitting techniques:

  • Estonian cast-on
  • Unusual decorative stripes
  • Reinforced heart heel
  • Sling star tip
